Papa's Page

This page implements some of my thoughts on chess problem equivilencies. Equivilent chess problems are problems with differing positions and solutions that are solved using the self-same logic.

The controls under the problem will transform the problem to equivilent problems. The following transformations are available:
        Flip-across-the-frontier,
        Flip-king/queen-sides,
        Rotate-left,
        Rotate-right,
        Switch player.
If a position has pawns, there are at least 4 postitions reachable with the simple transformations. If there are no pawns, then there are at least 16 positions for each problem.

There are other transformation that operate on individual pieces as well, but they are not implemented at this time.

Try it out.
