Difficulty:

This plane is for expert paper folders. It involves many steps, each of which must be executed with utmost care to exactness if the plane is to fly when you are done. After folding, the plane can be tuned for flight by a person skilled in adjusting paper airplanes. A basic knowledge of aerodynamics will assist during the tuning.

History:

I have long folded paper airplanes. What boy growing up in has not. As I matured, I wanted my planes to look more realistic, yet still fly. I experimented trying many variations. In 1988, when I was 18, I hit upon a plane, which looked good, and flew good. Talk about having you cake and eating it too! Many uears have passed since I first folded this beauty. Through the years I occasionally folded one or two, as more important matters consumed my time. Recently my son wanted me to teach him how to make paper airplanes. After folding him the standard dart, and standard stunt plane, I decided to make him one of my small fighters. His eyes lit up when I made him his first one. When he saw it fly, he could not believe his eyes.

Enjoy!
