Aargh!
Darn that pesky rabbit
leaving colored eggs all
scattered on the lawn and
candy, toys and baskets
dropped all through the house!
Darn that pesky rabbit!
Kids!
They wanted him to come,
begged for him to come and
left a carrot out last night to
make him want to come and
leave them baskets full of
candy, toys and choc’late.
Humph!
I will make them pick up!
They will go and clean my yard
finding all the eggs that
rabbit left and eat the
choc’late eggs and candy
dropped by pesky rodents.

Kids!
They will think it fun and
as they chomp on candy
sweets and choc’late bars, I’ll
tell them of the joyous
news that Christ was risen
from the tomb this day.
Hear!
Children hear and listen
well for this is why we
celebrate today:
Jesus Christ our Savior
rose and brings to each and
ev’ryone new life and
Hope!
In the season of new
life and birth, to think that
Christ can give us strength to
overcome our weakness
and become like him: the
Hope and joy of Easter!
